The Appeals Process
A notice of appeal must be filed within 45 days from the case disposition (30 days for federal appeals) or the case may be barred from appeal. Our attorneys promptly file a notice of appeal, make a transcript request and thoroughly review the transcript. We prepare an appendix and legal brief which demonstrates the arguments within the appeal which is then heard in an oral argument. It is important to have a team of lawyers who can adequately research and argue your position in order to succeed.
